Story
Larry and Pat Graham co-founded Broken Clay Ministries in 2013. BCM was granted a 501c3 non-profit organization status and is registered with the Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service, and issued a Certificate of Formation from the State of Texas Office of the Secretary of State.

BCM began its missionary outreach to Africa in the year of its inception with leadership conferences and ministry to disadvantaged widows in Kenya. Doors of ministry continued to open in Kenya, as the Grahams worked with Bishop Peter Onguko in various areas of the country.
Through a divine connection in 2015, Pastor David Turyatemba invited Broken Clay Ministries to conduct a leadership conference and a crusade in the slums of Kampala. This was the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship. It was while walking through the Namuwongo Slum on the way to the crusade site that Larry and Pat were confronted with the extreme poverty of the second-largest slum in Kampala, and the precious children who live there. That day their hearts were challenged which eventually led to BCM’s Feed A Child humanitarian outreach.
In 2016 Broken Clay Ministries, along with faithful donors, launched Feed A Child targeting primary-age school children living in the slums and attending New Planet Primary School founded by Pastor David & Petronilla Turyatemba of Kampala, Uganda. This outreach of BCM has greatly expanded currently providing 5000 meals each six-day school week.
In 2022 BCM expanded its reach with the opening of the Born To Win Skilling Center and Broken Clay Church Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO). These humanitarian efforts are designed to help the poor help themselves while ensuring their dignity. BCM along with its donors are providing practical ways to solve the problem of poverty by giving a hand-up and the gift of hope to children, families, and communities.
