New Planet Primary School

2022 has been a year of firsts for New Planet Primary School ("NPPS").  Not long after Pat & Larry's visit in August, BCM was able to have water supplied to the school for the first time since its inception in 2009.  This water spigot will give them access to water for cooking, drinking, hand washing, and cleaning. In addition, they now have flushing toilets vs. a pit latrine significantly improving the sanitation for students and teachers.

Another first is that BCM connected NPPS with Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse ministry.  The students have benefitted from the Bible curriculum "The Greatest Journey" through this ministry.  Upon completion of the curriculum, each student received a Certificate of Graduation. 

NPPS students were recipients of an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox outreach.  Since 1993, more than 198 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
